About the artist:
Descendant of japanese, born and living in Porto Alegre (Brazil), Louise is Graduated in Social Communication and Visual Arts. Focused on drawing and performance, she is interested in the different ways of perceiving and using time and espace (including the empty ones). She has held three solo exhibitions so far. Louise regularly participates in group exhibitions, including at MARGS (Rio Grande do Sul Museum of Art) and MACRS (Rio Grande do Sul Museum of Contemporary Art) having works in these institutions collections. In 2014 she received the Incentive Award for Creativity at the 20th Salon of Fine Arts of Porto Alegre, and in 2016 won the Acquisition Prize of 44º Salon of Contemporary Art Luiz Sacilotto (Santo André/SP).
