[...] movimento, performance e encenação dão presença ao que não o tem. À medida que as palavras dão origem às diversas obras daquelas que descrevem, tornam-se vultos de si mesmas, tal qual um espelho distorcido.

About the Artist:
Graduate in Visual Arts at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Made four solo exhibitions, “Outra Imagem” (Another Picture) at the 4th Prize of the State Institute of Visual Arts (IEAVi), at space Mauricio Rosenblatt in the Casa de Cultura Mario Quintana, in which was awarded, in 2016, “Em seu lugar” (In your place) at Sala da Fonte in the Paço dos Açorianos, through the Department of Culture of the city of Porto Alegre in 2015 and at Gallery Voa in 2016 and “Tempo é contagioso” (Time is contagious) at space Ado Malagoli in the Art Institute of UFRGS in 2014. Participates in group exhibitions since 2013, of which stand out “Novas Poéticas” (New Poetics) at the Rectory of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and “Fotos Contam Fatos” (Photos Tell Facts) at Vermelho Gallery in São Paulo-SP, in 2015. Has a photo-book published by Azulejo Arte Impressa, in 2015, entitled “Presença Ausente” (Absent Presence). Works mainly with staged photography, photo-performance, video art and artist book.
